ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAMS NOW AVAILABLE - NATIONALLY RECOGNISED
In the current environment, we understand that traditional face-to-face group training has become challenging. So, like many other businesses and with the guidance of our regulator (Australian Skills Quality Authority), we have adapted and moved some of our key first aid programs to predominantly online delivery.
We are pleased to announce these courses are now ready to take bookings.
These online programs involve participants undertaking comprehensive online training and theory assessments, prior to a short face-to-face practical assessment. The face-to-face assessments are currently capped at two participants, and run for between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the course.
This new approach to training allows individuals to complete the online component of training at their own pace, followed by a quick practical assessment with a trainer.
In this current environment, we are taking actions to minimise the risk and this new program ticks all the boxes.
Nationally recognised training
Most learning and training is completed online
Complete online learning from home and the practical assessment can be done later
Allows people to complete essential training and obtain the certificate they need
Quick face-to-face assessment with only one or two people present
No more large groups in one training room for long time frames
If you have staff working from home you can have them complete the online component of these courses now, and the short face-to-face practical assessment can be arranged for a later date. As long as the face to face assessment is conducted within 6 months, the participant will not need to repeat the work.
We know that businesses will be exceptionally busy catching up when they return, so this is a great option as the majority learning can be completed during this quiet period.
COURSES AVAILABLE AND ASSESSMENT DURATION
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: Approx. 2 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 20 minute face to face practical assessment with the trainer.
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid: Approx. 5.5 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 20 minute face to face practical assessment with the trainer.
HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting: Approx. 6.5 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 60 minute face to face practical assessment with the trainer.
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV Panel Course Set: Approx. 5 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 60 minute face to face practical assessment with the trainer.
Extra Precautions
While the COVID-19 pandemic continues we are following closely the advice from Government and other regulatory bodies to reduce risks. In addition to following social distancing measures we have implemented several other strategies involving modified practical assessments, much smaller class sizes, single use training aids, and heightened hygiene precautions.
