Are you ready to work on one of the construction projects coming to the Sunshine Coast – the Ewan Maddock Dam Upgrade, one of the many road upgrades from Caloundra to Noosa, the Sunshine Coast Airport Upgrade, new public spaces in Bokarina and Birtinya, or one of the many other projects?
It is likely you’ll need a Queensland Construction Induction White Card before you’re allowed to enter any of these construction sites.
Allens Training (Registered Training Organisation 90909) offers the CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (QUEENSLAND General Construction Induction Card) course or White Card as it is known, regularly in our Birtinya Training Centre.
The courses costs $110 and is typically delivered of an evening from 5pm. The course involves a range of both written and practical tasks throughout.

Although this course previously could be completed online, from February 2019, training for the white card must now be undertaken face to face in Queensland.
Important Information for White Card Students…
This course will help introduce you to or serve as a reminder of the current health and safety legislative requirements, personal awareness, and the basic principles of risk management for working in the construction industry in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others.
It covers identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers correctly selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.
To complete this course participants must be 14 years or over and will need parent guardian consent if under 18.
o achieve a statement of attainment and white card for this course you are required to provide your trainer with three evidence of identity (EOI) documents at your course. Details of exactly is required will be provided to you prior to your course.
