Roadside Safety Awareness for learner Drivers (ACT)


This learner licence training course is available to ACT learner licence holders to satisfy a component of the required driving hours for eligibility for an ACT provisional licence. 

This fully online course is designed to equip learner drivers with essential skills and knowledge for a safe driving journey.  As a learner driver, it's crucial to understand the rules of the road and how to handle unexpected situations. Eligibility to Participate in a Learner Driver First Aid Course:

As per section 22 (4) of the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulation 2000, learner licence holders will be required to have held their learner driver licence for a minimum of 3 months before being eligible to complete the Driver First Aid Course.

Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device with access to the internet to complete the online studies

+ Course Duration

  • Self-Paced - It is expected students may complete the course within 1-2 hours (depending on experience levels) This can be completed over a number of sessions. Your course progress will be saved.

  • Students are expected to complete all learning and assessment activities within six (6) months of enrolment. Failure to complete all requirements may result in your enrolment being disabled/cancelled.
