Our Sunshine Coast Training Centre uses local trainers that are committed to providing the highest quality training to ensure participants walk away with the qualifications required for employment and the confidence and skills required in an emergency. They do not teach by reading from a manual or flicking through a presentation, but instead, engage participants through other simple training methods and relevant scenarios.

Our trainers come from a range of backgrounds including - paramedics, nursing, education, construction and trades and can apply these skills to your industry so that you get the most out of your training experience.

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)

Allens Training Pty Ltd are registered with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and are approved for HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the 2017-2019 triennium.

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners is Australia’s largest professional general practice organisation and represents urban and rural general practitioners. The RACGP’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in Australia by supporting GPs, general practice registrars and medical students through its principal activities of education, training and research and by assessing doctors’ skills and knowledge.

This means the CPR training we provide to General Practitioners (registered with RACGP) is recognised as professional development and they can use this training to contribute towards their CPD points they are required to obtain throughout the triennium to meet their formal requirements of their medical registration.

This activity – ‘HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation’ is only relevant to General Practitioners who are registered with RACGP and the training activity equates to FIVE category 2 points.

Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM)

Allens Training Pty Ltd are registered with Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and have been approved for the following courses:

• HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (10 PDP Points)
• HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (10 PDP Points + 10 Emergency Medicine MOPS Points)
• HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation (10 PDP Points + 4 PRPD Points)

The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) for setting professional medical standards for training, assessment, certification and continuing professional development in the specialty of general practice. They also play an important role in supporting junior doctors and medical students considering a career in rural medicine.

This means any of the above training courses we provide to General Practitioners (registered with ACRRM) is recognised as Professional Development and they can use this training to contribute towards their PDP points that they are required to obtain throughout the triennium to meet their formal requirements of their medical registration.

If you are registered under ACCRM, it is important that you make this information know to the company and/or trainer on enrolment.
