Course in Stoma Care


Non-accredited course content will be guided by the NDIS High intensity support skill activity: Stoma Care.

 

Course Being Delivered

A Statement of Completion will be awarded to successful participants in Stoma Care. This is a non-accredited course and will not be considered for nationally recognised qualifications.

Face to Face – 2 hours (minimum) full face to face course

+ Assessment Requirements

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. These are detailed in the sections following.

  • Payment Terms – Payment for individual participants is upfront, group booking payment terms are based on agreement between the client and service provider.

Assessments conducted during face-to-face training session(s) include:

  • Performance tasks – Changing a one-piece ostomy bag.
  • Theory assessment – A written assessment consisting of case studies, multiple-choice questions.
