Do you need an Advanced Resuscitation Course?

On Saturday the 12th of December we will be holding an HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation course in our Birtinya Training Centre. Places are limited so please book your spot early to avoid disappointment.

Who needs this
certificate?
Most employers and workplaces require HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (formerly Apply First Aid) as this is the most common first aid course. We run these courses each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
However, certain tertiary study and job positions require people to hold a current advanced resuscitation certificate. This includes jobs such as divers and firefighters.
How long is the
course?
The course will be run over six hours, from 9am to 3pm. Some pre-course work will be required to be completed before the practical training.
What does will my certificate contain?
At the successful completion of this course participants will be issued with a statement of attainment valid for 1 year. The certificate contains the following units:
- HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation
