Due to sustained growth and success, Allens Training is looking to recruit a Senior Trainer to join our team on the Sunshine Coast.

This position will focus on the delivery of high quality First Aid Training programs as well and provide expert mentoring and leadership to our network of more than 500 trainers across Australia.

The role 

We are looking for an experienced, professional trainer to deliver Nationally Recognised First Aid Training programs to a range of clients and locations across the Sunshine Coast.

In addition, the Lead Trainer will be allocated time per week to work with both the Training Team and the Development Team in order to drive continuous improvement of our training programs.

Attributes required for the role

·         Previous training and assessment experience

·         Clear and professional communication skills

·         Excellent work ethic, presentation and the ability to work independently

·                       Flexibility to research, adopt and mentor in new and innovative training methods

·         Commitment to work in a team environment

·                       Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (meeting April 2019 Trainer and Assessor Requirements)

·         Experience working in a formal health care role will be highly regarded

·         Current First Aid qualifications or a willingness to undertake required training

·         Current drivers’ licence

·         Reliable car

·         Working with Children Clearance (to be obtained if successful).


Important: Allens Training is a national company and some interstate travel may be required as part of this role. As we deliver a large amount of workplace-based training programs the successful applicant will be required to have flexibility both in terms of work location and hours worked. This should be taken into consideration before applying for the role.


The ideal applicant is an experienced First Aid Trainer and Assessor that is familiar with delivering the following units:

·         HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

·         HLTAID003 Provide First Aid

·                       HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

·         HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid

·         HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation

·                       Other units such as low voltage rescue, and the range of fire units would be highly regarded.
