Full List of Enhanced Online Programs Available
So much has changed recently, but our commitment to great training across the Sunshine Coast remains the same. In response to COVID-19, we now have moved a large number of our most common programs including – fire, first aid, and health and safety courses all to our new Enhanced Online delivery mode. These courses are offered in our Birtinya Training Centre and also in our Maroochydore venue.
A full list showing the range of courses that can be completed via this new delivery mode is below.
This new delivery mode means that you complete all of your learning online, prior to attending a short face-to-face practical assessment with one of our qualified trainers.

Why attend training in this format?
Our number one priority is keeping our customers and clients safe and reducing risk while delivering high quality training. These new online programs can be completed in the comfort of your own home, and the practical assessments are short and capped at 2 participants.
While many people are working from home and have some extra time on their hands, the online option provides a good solution. Learning can be completed at your own pace and over a number of sittings.
Once the online learning has been completed you have a maximum of 6 months to complete the practical session. However, you are encouraged to complete the practical session as soon as you can so that the learning is still fresh in your mind and you are fully prepared for your practical assessment.
How does the Enhanced Online Training work?
These online programs involve participants undertaking comprehensive online training and theory assessments, prior to a short face-to-face practical assessment. The face-to-face assessments are currently capped at two participants (accounting for COVID-19 social distancing measures), and run for up to an hour, depending on the course/s.
This new approach to training allows individuals to complete the online component of training at their own pace, followed by a quick practical assessment with a trainer.
In this current environment, we are taking actions to minimise the risk and this new program ticks all the boxes.
Training is Nationally Recognised
Most learning and training is completed online allowing participants to complete it at their own pace
Quick face-to-face assessment with only one or two people present
No more large groups in one training room for long time frames
What measures have been put in place to reduce risk associated with the spread of COVID-19?
While the COVID-19 pandemic continues we are following closely the advice from Government and other regulatory bodies to reduce risks. In addition to following social distancing measures, we have implemented several other strategies involving modified practical assessments, much smaller class sizes, single use training aids, and heightened hygiene precautions.
Do I still get the same certificate as if I competed full face to face training?
Yes, if you are found competent in your practical assessment by our trainer, and you have successfully completed all the online learning and assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment in your chosen course.
What have previous students said about this training?
Awesome online training. Classroom practical part brilliant. Nic very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend Allen's to anyone.
Since we launched this new mode of delivery the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Here is some of the feedback from our clients and students:
The training was excellent. I had the practical with a gentleman called Carl and he was an amazing instructor and I really enjoyed the session and learnt so much. Many thanks to all involved.
I was quite nervous but was made at ease as soon as I entered the training room. The trainer was very calming and answered any question I had to my understanding. Would not hesitate to recommend Allens Training to anyone.
The instructor was brilliant, very experienced and knowledgeable. I have needed first aid for the past 10 years and Allens was by far the best company I have used.
